• Internships may be available in any of the following member countries.
  • Indicate preferred choice of countries by placing number (1,2,3) beside at least 3 of your choices.
  • Working knowledge of the language is sometimes required for countries in CAPITAL form.
  • A good knowledge in English will usually be sufficient in all other.
  • Country preferences indicated below will form the basis of request lists sent to other member
    countries in advance of the Exchange Conference
  • Early in February, details of positions secured at the Conference will be emailed to all applicants for consideration.
  • Candidates will not be restricted to original country choices.
  • Please note the there are very few places available in developing countries.
  • Positions are generally not available for the period of November or February.
  • Limited slots are available in developing countries

  • Letter of Motivation (explaining why you would like to be selected to be an IAESTE Traineeship)
  • TOR including current semester's subjects
  • Recommendation Letter (explaining why you are fit to participate IAESTE)


  1. Students may apply in advance so IAESTE Philippines will be able to determine the
    request of students (e.g country and position)
  2. For a student applying in advance, a $100 application fee is required.
    Application fee will be refunded if we can’t find internship position after the exchange conference
  3. Application fee is non-refundable if students cancels before the annual exchange
    conference in January
  4. Application fee is non-refundable if students cancel after nomination or acceptance of the
    host country
  5. Full program fee will be paid once nominated by the host country
  6. There will be no refund for all the fees if students cancels after visa is issued
  7. Application fee will be refunded if no internship position found for the candidate
  8. There will be no refund for all fees if documents submitted found falsified.
